Très bonne expérience en solo (deux traîneaux ), Maïlys est très engagée dans le bien être de ses chiens. Nous avons eu le droit à de très bonnes explications concernant la préparation des chiens. Moment de partage unique que je conseille vivement. Merci encore pour ton accueil, au top du top. Un rêve éveillé.

Bellissima esperienza ?
Abbiamo trascorso la giornata insieme a tutti gli animali e la loro fantastica proprietaria Maïlys. Ci ha accolto con molta cordialità e simpatia, trasmettendoci la sua passione per gli animali e la natura. Ha preparato per noi un ottimo spuntino sul fuoco con salsicce e dolci. Ha avuto molta attenzione per una persona con l'intolleranza al glutine.
É un'esperienza che consigliamo a tutte le persone di qualsiasi età.
Ringraziamo Maïlys per i momenti magici passati insieme e speriamo di ritornare.

Posto surreale. Arrivare e fare amicizia coi cani è già di per sé un'esperienza che riempie di gioia: sono stati tutti felici di vederci e si sono fidati subito di lasciarsi accarezzare. Maylis, la donna che gestisce l'attività, è una persona accogliente e con un grande senso pratico e dell'organizzazione. Siamo andati prima a fare un giro sulle slitte: uno di noi guidava e l'altro si godeva il paesaggio. La temperatura era -15, ma avevamo una super tuta che ci ha fornito Maylis al nostro arrivo. Dopo il giro in slitta ci siamo fermati a mangiare qualcosa di caldo, intorno al fuoco. E nell'ultima parte della giornata siamo andati a ciaspolare immersi nella natura selvaggia, con i cani. Giornata piena di Natura e Bellezza, Gentilezza e Gioia!

O’Nordic..Magical.. Memorable and professional

We have just returned after what was a truly magical experience with TUI in Kuusamo Holiday Club.
Everyone was in the Christmas spirit smiling, laughing and truly a great atmosphere.

We opted out with the TUI excursions a went private on our free day.

We had the most amazing experience with O’Nordic. From the minute we the booked the Husky Experience weeks ago we knew we had done the right thing, the communication from the start was superb and was not disappointed at all. Going with O’Nordic could not of been more easier and pleasurable there was no coach loads of people it was literally the owners and us.

They picked us up from the Hotel and took us straight to there premises (30-40 minutes) to meet the dogs, they taught us how to hook up and harness the dogs to the sledge and gave a full brief on how to control the dogs and the sledge and we was off.
My daughter in one Sledge with the owner Mailys leading followed by me and my wife “I was the pilot of the sledge”.

What an unbelievable time spent going through woodland and across frozen lakes and around the islands an experience that I for sure will never forget.

After we had finished the trip out we came back where we played with the dogs, met the puppies and then settled down for a lovely warm drink, something to eat prior to returning back. We couldn’t wipe the smiles of our faces and the look on my daughter “13” when we pulled in to see the beautiful location and the dogs was truly heartwarming.

Many individuals are asking for advice on trips etc, please do book with O’Nordic the professionalism and passion towards the dogs they show is incredible and we will be going again, they do other activities also so just ask them.

We are so disappointed that the trip had to come to an end.

Un mille merci pour Mailys qui nous a très certainement fait vivre la plus belle expérience de notre séjour de 4 mois en Finlande !!
Mailys aime ses chiens et ça se ressent! Loin de l'attraction touristique, vous y trouverez des chiens plus qu'heureux de partir en balade avec vous. L’expérience est totalement personnalisée car vous ne serez que par groupe de 5 maximum! Nous n’étions que notre groupe et cela fait toute la différence.
Mailys prend beaucoup de temps pour expliquer de manière très claire les consignes ce qui est vraiment rassurant (majeure différence avec les endroits où ils partent par groupe de 20).
Après la balade, on a tout le temps que l’on souhaite avec les chiens, on s’occupe même de leur enlever leur harnais etc.
Ensuite, Mailys prépare un feu et on a même eu le droit à des boissons chaudes et un délicieux fondant au chocolat. Bref, une expérience plus que parfaite. Si vous êtes du côté de Ruka, n’hésitez pas une seule seconde car cela vaut le détour !!

Magnifique expérience qui vous apportera des étoiles dans les yeux.
Nous cherchions une sortie en chien de traineau mais dans une petite structure où c'est chaleureux, les animaux sont biens traités et dans lequel on a le temps de poser des questions ainsi que de profiter et nous l'avons trouvé chez Maïlys et Mehdi 🙂

Maïlys et Mehdi sont deux Français (ils parlent Français, Anglais et Finnois) qui se sont établis en Finlande il y a bientôt 3 ans pour vivre leur passion du grand air et des chiens.

Nous avons fait la longue sortie et tout a commencé avec des explications concernant les chiens (races, caractéristiques, ...) ensuite nous avons aidé à les préparer.
Finalement nous avons reçu des explications de comment "conduire" l'attelage avant de s'élancer à l'assaut de la Laponie Finoise 😉

Le parcours était magnifique car varié et nous a mené à travers bois et lacs gelés. Tout au long du parcours, Maïly faisant fort attention à ce que tout se passe bien et elle a donné des informations afin que l'on comprenne notre environnement.

Une fois de retour après 2 heures de sortie, on a le temps de profiter des chiens (les déséquiper, les caresser, jouer avec eux) avant d'aller manger un repas au coin du feu tout en partageant notre expérience.

Nous recommandons fortement O'Nordic pour le moment magique que Maïlys et Mehdi nous ont fait vivre.

We visited this lovely huskie kennels during our stay in Kuusamo in December. It was absolutely the highlight of our trip, the kids absolutely loved it. We got lots of time to pet the big dogs, you can see how the live and how much love the owner Marilys gives each dog. Then the children went on a huskie ride. They also do whole family ones. Once back we sat in the Kota where Marilys brought us hot drinks and cake to warm up round the fire. Once we were all warm we went Into the puppy pen to meet and hug all the baby huskies. It's was amazing and magical and when we ask the kids the best but of the holiday they said the huskies. The price is very reasonable it cost €120 for all of us Including the huskie ride and pick up from our hotel club kussamo and they took us back. If you are in the Kussamo/Ruka area definitely book these rather than a larger company. It's so personal and only your family are there.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Eine Schlittenhundefarm mit viel Herz ❤️ und ein fantastischer Tag ?!

Wir waren im August einen Tag bei Mailys auf der Farm. Relativ spontan aber hat super geklappt. Die Farm ist sehr schön und man merkt gleich wieviel Arbeit und Liebe darin steckt ?.
Mailys hat uns alles gezeigt und erklärt, ihr Enthusiasmus war wirklich ansteckend. WIr durften die Hasen und Hühner füttern und dann ging es zu den Hunden. Die Liebe zu den Tieren ist wirklich spürbar. Es hat Spaß gemacht mit den Hunden zu interagieren, mit ihnen spazieren zu gehen und ihnen beim Baden und spielen zuzusehen. Danach haben wir gegrillt und sehr leckere selbstgebackene Muffins gegessen.
Alles in Allem ein super schöner Tag! Danke ? Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder ?
