After leaving the shop, I later noticed I had been charged for two drinks I never ordered—costing me an extra 11 euros. I usually don’t double-check receipts, but this experience left me disappointed. It’s frustrating to think how easily this could happen to others without them realizing 💔

i went to the store this morning, bought a few things, the total value was 3 euros, i gave 20e in cash, i saw the cashier had enough change to give me back, but she refused to do the transaction with me, with the reason that because that amount of money was used for the whole day, and she also said that it was just the morning when the store opened and you gave cash, that was not the problem and the customer's fault. That is not a reasonable reason, a big store in the center that does not prepare enough cash should have a note saying no cash. i am a regular customer of the store but with the service attitude of the cashier today who only knows how to blame the customer, i will not come back again

JK Shop Kaivopiha is the kind of place you stumble into when the craving for instant noodles or Asian snacks hits you harder than common sense. It’s compact — let’s just say “cozy” is putting it politely — with limited products, but it usually has what I need to fuel my noodle addiction whenever I’m downtown.

Now, I never expect five-star service in a convenience store. But here? The cashiers (usually young ladies with heavy makeup) have perfected the art of looking both cold and uninterested, as if customers are merely an inconvenience interrupting their scrolling time. It’s not exactly what you’d call “attentive retail.”

Compare this with Kiina in Kamppi, just a 5-minute walk away: professionally run, shelves look less like an afterthought, and the proprietor actually smiles — imagine that!

So, yes, JK Shop serves its purpose. Just don’t expect warmth, unless it comes from the hot water you pour into your cup noodles.

It has been quite a few times in row that the service is not servicing!! By service I don’t mean like guidance and stuff, the bare minimum service like hi, thank you and do you need a bag! I have like bunch of foods and snacks, they didn’t even think of asking us if we need a bag? If they were busy I would 💯understand but the entire time I was in shop, they were literally just standing and talking with each other. I am sorry I might be sound like old-fashioned but this is the truth!!
